The Lorca Adirondacks Motel

This was my second time staying at the Lorca and once again, it did not disappoint! The keypad to get in was an updated feature since my last visit, which made checking into the room super easy. The room is so cozy and clean and helps you feel more connected to the nature around you. The bed was super comfortable, which was exactly what I needed after a long weekend of hiking. Once again, I also have to emphasize the fact that I felt so safe and at peace the whole time I stayed there—which is so important to me as a solo female traveler. I will always recommend this cute little spot to all people who need a nice, easy place to stay while exploring the nearby beauty of the Adirondacks! :)

I was expecting two beds in the room and arrived finding only one bed in the room. I contacted his team and the problem was resolved within 15 minutes with the appropriate two beds in a room. Be sure to type in the street address into the gps. A gps link brought me 20 minutes away but I got back to the correct location by typing the address into myself. Not sure why it happened. They are great hosts. The beds were very comfortable. I am looking forward someday to coming back.

Third time staying at the Lorca and keeps getting better. Must be awesome in the summer time right across the street from on the lake with screened in picnic tables, outdoor fire pit and a pool. Can’t wait to come back!

Great house, lots to do, won't regret it. I felt at home in peace, calm, and safe. What else can you ask for? Nothing, just enjoy the moments and make memories.

I was at The Lorca for one night because I travelled for work in the area. The communication throughout the whole process from booking to checking out was just great. The owners were very accommodating, and reachable. The room was cute, bed was comfortable, area very pretty. Everything you need was there (I had to ask for allowing me to use microwave and they did provide me with access!). Overall, my stay was lovely even though short. Thank you!

Our stay at The Lorca was absolutely perfect. It was so adorable and cozy, the bedding was high quality which is always important to us. The little extra amenities were so nice- they had coffee, tea and oatmeal which was exactly what we needed. We snowboarded at both Gore and Oak mountain and it was a nice drive to both!

This house was in a good location and a cozy place to spend a winter weekend. If you plan on cooking, be sure to bring spices, oil, and pots as there were few available.

The host was super responsive! We booked the property at the last minute as we had a terrible experience with another local property and had to cancel for a full refund. David was friendly and we were lucky his cabin was available as we were 5 hrs from home with our small pet. There were no surprises when we checked in, the host was very transparent in his description and instructions.

Stay here was everything we needed. Very simple and very clean. Communication was great when we had an issue at check-in. So all went well. It was a great spot.
